In the historic center of Città di Castello, close to one of the main squares and directly overlooking a church, we oversaw the complete renovation of a residential building spread over three floors above ground. The building, which is detached on two sides and adjacent to other residential units on the other sides, is part of a compact and historically significant urban fabric.

The project arose from the need to completely transform the interior spaces, adapting them to the needs of a new family, with a contemporary architectural language that is sensitive to the context but capable of introducing spatial quality and compositional coherence. The staircase, the use of materials, and the integration of custom-made furnishings become the guiding threads of the project, together with careful management of light and perspectives.
